Spend a couple of hours mincing about with different curves trying to find a way of fitting 3 primaries round the starter motor, alternator, and steering column. I finally figured out a way of fitting them all in to the space available without them getting too close to anything, and with enough space available so I can remove the manifold. I'm going to rough the idea out in 2" tubing, and if that works, then it'll work in 1 3/4".

The passengers side has loads more space, and the manifold that side is going to be easypeasy. the only obstacle there is the oil filter, but there's easily enough space to go round it.

Of course, another alternative is to build the exhaust in the engine bay, and to have twin side exit exhausts behind the front wheels, lol.
